In the fourth wave of Covid-19, controlling people entering and leaving buildings, apartments, shops, factories, industrial parks... takes a lot of time, human resources, and risks of cross-infection. , difficult to collect information to manage and trace. T-Check was born based on that fact. The solution was developed by 10 engineers from 2 centers of TMA Innovation, the Artificial Intelligence Center (TMA AI Center) and the Internet of Things Center (TMA IoT Center).
- With T-Check, users only need from 5 to 20 seconds to make automatic medical declarations in public areas such as office buildings, hospitals, shopping malls, etc. The declared data is aggregated and transmitted. to the internal processing center immediately.
- The device can also adjust functions to operate after the epidemic season such as declaring information in/out the building, timekeeping staff, checking health, screening patients at hospitals, collecting guest information. goods in stores.
- T-Check is a part of smart building solutions, smart residential areas of TMA Innovation, to increase safety and convenience for businesses and residents, especially the need to limit contact during and after. Covid-19 pandemic.
Hoang Minh Thang - a 24-year-old man is a member of the T-Check development team, with the main task of solution design and business management. Thang said, from 10 original ideas, the team has refined and combined into a common product that can be applied to many different cases.
To meet the control and management needs that are constantly fluctuating with many regulations according to the stages of the epidemic, T-Check is continuously improved and added new functions. “Every month, the engineering team releases a new version to keep up with practical needs. From where there were only 3, then 4 functions, up to now, the product has nearly 10 functions”, Thang shared.
This project was started in the middle of May 2021 - when the epidemic began to break out in Ho Chi Minh City. Utilizing technology from the existing T-Access building access control product and TMA's smart camera solution, T-Check was quickly completed in June 2021.
Thang said that the solution development and implementation phase is the stage in which Ho Chi Minh City is implementing Directive 16+, so all project members have to work remotely. But the TMA team has a lot of experience working remotely, so the project progress is not affected much.

At the end of July 2021, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City implemented the Program “Finding and connecting innovative solutions to cope with the Covid-19 epidemic in Ho Chi Minh City in 2021”. From 99 participating projects, the Organizing Committee selected the 10 most outstanding projects, including T-Check.
All 10 projects above are at the product completion stage, a number of solutions have been implemented and promoted effectively in practice, piloted to fight the epidemic in some localities and are ready to transfer technology. Therefore, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology likens, here are 10 doses of “technological vaccines” ready to stand side by side on the front lines against the epidemic with Ho Chi Minh City as well as other provinces and cities.
Hoang Minh Thang said, T-Check has been commercialized since the middle of this year and successfully deployed in a number of buildings, factories and offices. Because the product is compact, simple and easy to use, most customers can install and deploy it themselves. Depending on the type of device and function, each T-Check product costs from 10 to 40 million VND. TMA Innovation has received dozens of requests to deploy T-Check when factories, buildings, businesses, and stores return to operation.
Thang and the team feel proud of the almost complete automation of T-Check, so there is no need for staff or security guards to measure body temperature, check green cards, QR codes, remind to wear masks, distinguish employees. staff - residents with guests... Therefore, the solution can help save human resources and limit contact, reduce the risk of infection, but still control access closely and ensure sufficient information for tracing. when needed.
The goal of the T-Check development team is to quickly deploy this product to meet the market demand for smart city solutions. “If favorable, that means when the product is deployed in 1,000 locations, we will separate this product line into a separate startup,” Thang shared.
